Project Candy
“Candies” was a playful 3D visual language developed for Kiwi to bring warmth, color, and personality into a fully digital brand experience. Inspired by the tactile qualities of real candy, the system consisted of abstract inflated forms designed to add whimsy and softness across the app and brand communications.

The Goal
As a fintech brand, Kiwi wanted to feel approachable, youthful, and visually memorable. The goal of the Candies system was to introduce a flexible set of 3D elements that could instantly make creatives feel more playful and recognizable across multiple touchpoints.
The objects needed to work seamlessly across static banners, social media, app visuals, and campaigns while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.

Inspiration & Visual Direction
The forms and textures were inspired by real candy glossy surfaces, soft inflated silhouettes, translucent materials, and bright nostalgic colors. The intention was to create objects that felt tactile and almost touchable despite existing entirely in digital spaces.
Each shape was designed to balance randomness with consistency, allowing the system to feel expressive without losing its identity.

Application
The Candies were used across a variety of Kiwi brand touchpoints including app banners, static creatives, social media, and marketing campaigns. Their flexibility allowed them to function both as hero elements and subtle supporting visuals depending on the context.
